Align Cabinet Hinges Faster with a Magnetic Installation Jig
This magnetic cabinet hinge installation jig helps position and drill standard 35 mm concealed hinge cups with more consistent spacing. The two-piece jig set uses strong magnets to stay in place during marking and drilling, while the foldable backrest makes it easier to store in a toolbox or pocket between projects.
Key Features:
- Standard 35 mm Hinge Guide: Designed for common concealed cabinet hinges with a 35 mm hinge cup.
- Two-Piece Alignment Set: Includes two magnetic positioning pieces that help keep the hinge location aligned across the cabinet door and panel.
- Drill Bit Included: Each set includes 2 positioning pieces and 1 compatible drill bit for a convenient starting kit.
- Strong Magnetic Hold: Built-in magnets help keep the jig steady while you mark and drill.
- 2.6 mm Seam Reference: The guide helps maintain a consistent narrow gap when positioning cabinet doors.
- Foldable Backrest: Folds down for compact storage and transport in a toolbox, drawer, or work apron.
- Useful for DIY Cabinet Work: Suitable for cabinet door replacement, hinge installation, furniture repair, and woodworking projects.
How to Use:
- Confirm that the hinge cup and cabinet door thickness are compatible with the guide before drilling.
- Place the jig against the cabinet door edge and align the reference marks with the desired hinge position.
- Let the magnets hold the guide in place, then mark or drill through the indicated opening using the included bit.
- Check the hole depth and alignment before installing the hinge. Work slowly and keep hands clear of the drill path.
- Fold the backrest after use and store the set with the drill bit in a dry toolbox.
